McKinney “Cautiously Optimistic” After China Visit

“A wildly successful visit,” is how USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Ted McKinney labeled his recent visit to China. He views the recent visits by U.S. trade reps with Chinese officials as “trust building” in the trade relationship between both countries.

He also reported that USDA’s latest ag trade mission to China demonstrates continued and growing demand in that market for U.S. food and farm goods.
