PDPW Announces Speakers for Weekly Dairy Signal


The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.

On Tuesday, Patrick Wood of Ag Methane Advisors, LLC will talk about how carbon markets present a number of opportunities for farmers, but also come with potential risks. There will also be some time for questions and answers.

A group of PhD students and a professor from the University of Florida will be Wednesday’s presenters. they will share research on the impact of choline on hepatic metabolism and performance in dairy cows as well as studies on how a cow’s ability to utilize nutrients can impact her production, health and reproduction.

And on Thursday, Economist Dan Basse of AgResource Company will be back with his biweekly update on news and analysis of agricultural markets that will impact dairy producers and the ag industry.
